Rules and Regulations

Registration and Conduct of Play

  • All golfers must register at the pro shop and pay any applicable fees in order to play.

  • Golfers are expected to complete 18 holes in no more than 4 hours 15 minutes.

  • Starting times are subject to change due to course conditions.

  • The Starter is in charge of the tee and his determination is final and binding.

  • I.D. tags are to be attached to golf bags at all times.

  • All daily players must register with the Village Office before having any playing privileges.

  • Singles and twosomes are permitted to tee off only at the discretion of the Starter.

  • Allow the foursome behind you to play through if there is an open hole in front of you. Gaps of more than half a hole must be closed up immediately.

  • Players looking for lost balls for more than 5 minutes must signal the following group to pass and shall immediately step aside and allow them to pass and not continue play until passing group is out of range.

  • Play no more than one ball at any time; practice is not permitted on the course at anytime.

  • Players must leave the greens immediately after holing out.

  • Do not put ball into play until players in front are out of range.

  • Play holes in consecutive order. Players are forbidden to play holes out of rotation.

  • Players of all categories playing during their assigned hours shall have equal status.

  • No non-playing guests are permitted.

  • No non-playing walkers permitted.

  • When temporary greens or tees are in effect, no play is permitted on regular greens and tees.

  • If a group is not ready to tee off on the 10th tee they forfeit their position and will be dropped back behind each group that is ready to tee off.

  • U.S.G.A. Rules of Golf shall apply unless otherwise provided for by local rules, as stated on scorecards or posted.


Locker Room Rules

  • Lockers may be rented annually if available. The fee for a full-sized locker is $200, and $100 for a half-sized locker.

  • Towels are provided for use in the locker room only and may not be removed.

  • Children under 16 are not permitted to be in the locker room unaccompanied by an adult member.

  • Supplies are provided for locker room use only and may not be removed from the locker room or kept in one’s locker.

  • Locker room attendants provide free golf and/or street shoe cleaning, one pair each per day when you use your locker.

  • The Village is not responsible for the loss or damage of any personal property left in the locker room or its facilities.


Scattering Rules

  • When leaving the tee area, remain on the cart path where available until reaching the scatter bar.

  • Once on the fairway, where possible, remain on the fairway until directed otherwise.

  • Avoid wet areas, try to ride on the highest part of the fairway.

  • Please avoid driving in the rough, unless instructed to do so.

  • Adhere to all signage on the course especially when holes are marked 'Cart Path Only' or 'No Carts Beyond This Point'.

  • All fairways have ropes and directional arrows indicating the last time you may cross the fairway before the green. Upon reaching these stakes, all carts should follow applicable directions.

  • When on the fairways, please stay a minimum of 5 yards away from fairway bunkers, and 20 yards away from tees and greens, and other marked non-play areas.

  • Ride and park on cart paths adjacent to tee boxes and greens.

Environmental Areas

Any area of the golf course marked by stakes with a green top is an Environmentally Sensitive Area. You may not enter these areas to stand, play or retrieve your ball. Below the green top, the stakes may be white (OB), yellow (Water Hazard), red (Lateral Water Hazard), or blue (Ground Under Repair).

USGA Rules of Golf apply, with appropriate penalties, but you do not have the option of playing from these hazards.
